Catherine Daly – Director of What About Play
Catherine Daly is an Occupational Therapist/Child and Family Therapist who has worked extensively with children and families requiring specialist assessment and intervention for psychosocial, mental health and developmental difficulties. As part of her therapy work, Catherine helps parents to facilitate more meaningful interactions with their children.
Catherine is committed to providing a high level of clinical assessment and intervention using a variety of theoretical approaches to work with families in a compassionate, responsive and thoughtful manner.
Catherine has a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health in the field of psychotherapy. She has her certification in Circle of Security Assessment and Treatment Planning (Level 1). Catherine is a registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Occupational Therapist Board of Australia), and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and the Australian Association for Infant Mental Health. Catherine holds OTA Mental Health Endorsement and is registered to provide services under the Federal Government’s Better Access to Mental Health initiative.
In addition, Catherine has specific experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and training for therapists and organisations.
